Kumaran Kundram is located in Chrompet, Chennai, a hill rock dedicated to Lord Muruga in the form of Lord Kumaran, is a similar shrine located in "Swamimalai", is a cultural and religious heritage with music, dance and discourses held at the famous hall "Arunagirinathar". The temple is situated between two hills are Thiruneermalai and Tirisulam. At the bottom of the hill are sanctum of Lord Siddhi Vinayaka. Goddess kali devi here is called 'Jeyamangulathanman Kali'.Goddess Kali bless with peaceful and bestows, success and good welfare. Special Pujas are Performed on Full Moon Day. On the day of Kanda Sasti Lord Muruga goes in procession on the elephant carrier, after performing the Soora Samhaaram.
