Skandamata Temple is located at J.6/33, Jaitpura. Devotees will Pray to Skandamata and get double blessings from mata and skanda.

Day -5: SkandaMata Devi:
Fifth
day is Panchami and was celebrated for the Goddess Skandamata. Skanda is one of
the name of Lord Muruga or Karthik - The General of the Devas army and the most
handsome God. Skandamata is the Mother of Karthik. She is also known as
Padmasana.
This is the motherly form of God and she is generous. This mata will been seen with Lord Skanda in her lap, she possesses four arms out of which two holds the lotus flowers. One of her hands is always in the boon-conferring gesture and with the other hand she holds her son Skanda in her lap.
Her
complexion is white and she is seated on the lotus. So she is called as Goddess
with a lotus seat. Skandamata who posseses the brilliance of the sun fulfills
all the desires of her devotees.
Devotees of Skandamata attain all the achievements and treasures of life and she purifies totally the heart of a devotee. Her worship is twice blessed because when we worship her we getting blessings from the Skanda also who is in her lap. Her worship is ultimately conductive to salvation.
Skandmata
take care of a devotee as her own child. Devotees must worship
Skandamata specifically if they have many obstacles in life. Skandmata
then take care of devotee as her own child and remove all his obstacles.
Color of the Navaratri Day 5(17.10.2015):
Color for this day five to celebrate Maa Skandamata on Oct 17th 2015 is calculated as Grey. Devotees wear Grey color dress and pray to mata to get ultimate strength.
